Villa Domiziano and lunch with Emperor

The most complete and fascinating guided tour in the territory of Circeo National Park, on Paola Lake: history, nature and landscape all together!

Access to the Villa Domiziano excavations from the lake by boat and guided tour, boat cruise, lunch at the 4 Star Restaurant / Hotel

Boarding and sailing towards the archaeological area. Visit overland the precious ruins of Villa Domiziano, the thermal plant, the evocative underground cisterns, the forest and the nature of Circeo National Park with its imperial remains. The echoes of the old life resonate in the words of Seneca, Martial, and Juvenal… and do not say that “you could not hear a pin drop” with so much Imperial history! Baths, wine and Venus spoil our bodies but make a happy life!!

Sail by boat to the pier of the restaurant where we land for lunch and enjoy a well-deserved rest on the shore of Lake.

Return by boat in the afternoon to the starting point.

To access canoe must be autonomous in the rowing. Technical background for beginners will be taught before the start.

Service: wc is at the departure/arrival dock and at the Visitor Centre where the tour begins/finishes.

Dogs must be kept on a lesh.

“Proprietà Scalfati” has been the first in Lazio to realise some fisheries and tourism activities on the South coast of the lake.
