NINFA – ECOTOUR in CAETANI’s Domains

Due to the kind cooperation of The Roffredo Caetani Foundation and the Sermoneta Municipality, Sentiero organizes the Garden of Ninfa Tour.

You will fall in love with the Caetani’s Domains, starting from the visit to the most romantic garden of the world (New York Times) to Sermoneta, a suggestive stronghold of art history and the most intact medieval hamlet in central Italy. Finally, head to Valvisciolo, a Cistercian silent abbey where the history blends with spirituality and nature.

Meeting point at the Latina Scalo Railway Station Parking (Sermoneta underpass exit).

Hop aboard your shuttlebus or your bike (as you choose).

You can visit the Garden of Ninfa in the days of ordinary opening or join and organize extra visits (see link at end of page).

TRANSPORT AND GUIDE

You can arrive by train at Latina Railway Station on the railway line Rome – Naples, or arrive by your own car (large and free parking available). Latina Scalo Railway Station is also served by COTRAL public bus (info on www.trenitalia.com / www.cotralspa.it). Enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Agro Pontino area and the low mountain chain of Lepini.

We maintain an eco-friendly entrance to the Garden of Ninfa preventing car congestion inside and around the parking of Ninfa.

RESERVATION (click below)

1. Choose “Reservation ecotour  by shuttle” to reserve 1 or more adults/children to visit the Garden of Ninfa by shuttle bus return ticket according to the transport timetable. You could move by shuttle bus with the same ticket to visit Sermoneta and Valvisciolo Abbey.
2. Choose “Reservation ecotour by bike” to reserve 1 or more adults/children to visit the Garden of Ninfa by shuttle, and then take a bike ride starting from the Pantanello Oasis along the walls of the ancient city of Ninfa (about 10Km, in the plains), returning to the Pantanello Oasis. Return to the Latina station by shuttle.
3. Choose “Book Calendar Extra” if you want to join or organize visits outside normal opening days.
